Thanks! I have no idea how I ever lived with a P&S digital camera now.

I don't know that I am done changing up the blog. I'm not sure that pink is my color!

Where else would I have had my photo taken with Morgan Spurlock? :-p I just couldn't resist including it.

You should totally try the Bountiful Baskets. Next week, we're going to add on the bread, too. We might try out the Green Bee Co-op, but there is no way their pick up site is going to be as close as the Bountiful Basket one, so we'll see!

Can I just say I love the idea of Bountiful Baskets, I totally need to look into that! And it's funny I made banana bread this week too! But I used my mom's old recipe and milk chocolate chips! yum! (Is the Morgan Spurlock pick from Ryan's movie premiere in Phx?)

Hehe, I agree with your comments regarding that publication's "Black Friday Survival." I am (usually) one to favor comfort and convenience over style, especially during a mass sale-shopping-stampeding day (like anyone's going to notice what you're wearing when you're all fighting over the last DVD player anyway).

Mallory (another knitter with yet another knitting blog)

P.S. Your Shadow Scarf is coming out beautifully!! ^_^

P.P.S. Are you a fan of Sex and the City?

Hi Denise
I love your website. So beautifully designed and no ickiness anywhere!

I used to get similar feelings of alienation at the church playgroup I took my girls to. There were some very perfect people there (we call them yuumy mummies here) - but most of them turned out to be made of dust like the rest of us.

I will put a link to your website on mine: www.imightcomedownformeals.blogspot.com. I started it last week so it has a way to go. It's quite funny, though.

I am London born and bred.but I am a US citizen too! Anyway, I thought you might like to look at my blog - it's a bit different.

I will send you a Facebook friend invitation.

Best wishes.

[...] Since I wrote my post ranting about my hatred for Ohio State Football and Wal-mart, I have been receiving many hits from people searching the Internets with queries such as “i hate ohio state website”. I was surprised to see that the most popular subject (aside from people looking for photos of Irish dance shoes and information about knitting legwarmers) is “oh how i hate ohio state t-shirts”. I was feeling badly about misleading all of these poor souls who are looking to express their disdain for Ohio State through clothing, only to find my ramblings. So I created a t-shirt through CafePress. [...]
